About the role: We seek an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to oversee DevOps practices and tools within our GDP Azure environment. The role involves technical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of DevOps and Azure technologies, coordinating global product development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine DevOps strategies, goals, and success metrics. Assess current practices and identify improvements.
• CI/CD: Design, implement, and manage pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or Server. Automate testing and deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure with ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs. Define configurations as code.
• Monitoring and Logging: Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track performance and health.
• Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security, IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC. Ensure DevSecOps integration.
• Scripting and Automation: Use PowerShell, Python, Bash for automation and resource management scripts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Azure DevOps lead in a multinational environment.
• Familiarity with Azure services like VMs, AKS, App Service, Functions, SQL Database.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Continuous learning mindset.

Nice to Haves:

• Azure DevOps or related certifications.
• Additional scripting or automation tools experience.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Skills:

• Azure (7-9 yrs), Azure DevOps (4-6 yrs), Kubernetes (4-6 yrs), Terraform (4-6 yrs), Datadog (4-6 yrs).
• Optional: Grafana (2-3 yrs).

Must-Haves: Azure, Azure DevOps or Github Actions, Datadog or Grafana, Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash scripting.

Time Zone: Spain CET. Overlap requirement: 8 hours with Spain CET.

Location: Spain. Travel to Madrid twice a year at client’s expense.

Duration: 12-month renewable contract, full-time (40 hrs/week).
