Senior Demand Planner
Location : Barcelona
As a Senior Demand Planner at one of the leading companies in the medical device industry, you will have the opportunity to grow within a multinational environment with excellent professional development prospects. Your responsibilities include analyzing sales forecasts, preparing demand plans, supporting S&OP meetings, and maintaining related systems. You will be accountable for SKUs within your market, ensuring effective communication with commercial, finance, and operations teams to keep demand and supply balanced, meet customer requirements, and align with business and financial goals.
Responsibilities :
- Verify the accuracy of statistical forecasts and develop baselines based on historical data.
- Collaborate with market teams to gather insights, evaluate, and incorporate changes into demand plans, documenting reasons for adjustments. Regularly analyze KPIs such as forecast accuracy and suggest improvements in coordination with regional demand planning.
- Maintain an up-to-date 36-month forecast in systems like APO, based on latest business insights.
- Monitor supply issues (e.g., stock outs, bottlenecks) with supply coordination and assess their impact on demand.
- Prepare and facilitate S&OP meetings according to the global schedule, including report preparation, issue analysis, risk assessment, and action item coordination.
- Work with supply and market teams to monitor shelf life and obsolescence, providing recommendations to prevent write-offs.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration; postgraduate certification in supply chain management is a plus.Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain management.Proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Knowledge of SAP (especially APO) and MS Office.Digital mindset and experience in operational excellence.Motivated, structured, and results-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; additional languages are advantageous.Strong team player capable of effective collaboration in a multicultural environment.Benefits :
