This position is responsible for creating and executing Demand Plans that support the company’s sales goals and strategies. Building collaborative relationships across sales, marketing, and supply chain teams is critical to success. The Sr Demand Planner will support the manager in establishing the best Demand Plan, both monthly for the mid to long term (typically 18 months out) and weekly for the next 2-3 months.
The role requires strong business-data analysis skills to understand relevant factors influencing demand and to challenge assumptions with commercial and marketing teams. The position also involves communicating sales projections to Finance and continuously improving demand forecasting accuracy.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (MSc in Engineering or similar), 5+ years in supply chain, at least 3 in Demand Planning, experience with SAP, Manugistics, or APO, mastery of Excel, APICS certification is a plus.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, collaborative mindset, understanding of supply chain principles, willingness to learn, proficiency in English, additional European languages are assets, ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
Ability to develop multi-category forecasts, manage forecast deviations proactively, problem-solving skills, leadership, data analysis, and effective communication are essential.
