A leading satellite communications company in Madrid is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the biggest European SatCom project. You will be involved in the full engineering cycle of satellite platforms, including design, manufacturing, and testing activities. A Master's degree in a relevant field and around ten years of experience in platform engineering are required. Fluency in English is essential. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with international teams and participate in significant project phases.

Formación

• Approximately ten years of experience in platform engineering or satellite operations.
• Experience with platform equipment design, manufacturing, integration and testing.
• Knowledge of system budgets, radiation, EMC, and ESD.

we are looking for a

Platform Engineer

(Mechanical Thermal Structure, Electrical or AOCS) for the biggest European SatCom project in collaboration with the European Space Agency and the European Commission.

We are expanding our Platform team and looking for engineers with expertise in

Mechanical / Thermal / Structure

Electrical

, and

AOCS to support the full engineering cycle of the satellite platform.

Participate in design, manufacturing and testing activities for units, subsystems and the full satellite.

• Take part in key project phases including launch preparation, launch campaign, LEOP and in orbit testing.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, industrial partners and agencies throughout the programme.

Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a similar field.

• Around ten years of experience in platform engineering, platform procurement, equipment manufacturing or satellite operations in GEO or LEO.
• Platform equipment design, manufacturing, integration and testing.
• System budgets, radiation, EMC and ESD.
• Assembly, integration and testing at subsystem and system level.
• In orbit testing of satellite platforms.
• Ability to use programming languages such as Python or Matlab.

Fluency in English.
