Job Title: Front of House – Bike & Apparel Shop

Location: [Malaga]

We offer a premium selection of bikes, apparel, accessories, and rental services to riders of all levels. If you’re enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and love bikes as much as we do, we want you on our team!

Position Summary:

As a Front of House team member, you’ll be the welcoming face of our shop. Your role is to ensure every customer receives outstanding service—whether they’re buying gear, seeking advice, or renting a bike. You’ll manage the shop floor, handle sales, and take care of day-to-day operations, including supporting our growing bike rental service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shop Floor & Rental Operations:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop floor.

• Ensure products are properly displayed, restocked, and merchandised.

• Oversee bike rental logistics:

• Ensure rental bikes are clean, charged, and correctly placed.

• Remove pedals from bikes not in use; organize helmets, shoes, saddles, and other gear.

• Clean and maintain rental helmets and accessories.

• Support with inventory: receive and stock new merchandise (with support from the Hub Manager).

• Monitor and maintain shop security.

2. Customer Service & Sales:

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism.

• Provide expert advice on bikes, apparel, accessories, and rentals.

• Process transactions using the point-of-sale system.

• Handle inquiries, complaints, and returns with care.

• Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and build lasting relationships.

3. Online & Marketing Support:

• Respond to online leads and monitor online platforms.

• Add bikes, wheels, and other products to our e-commerce channels.

• Post regularly on Instagram and collaborate with the marketing team.

• Help promote new products, events, and the Eat Sleep Cycle brand both in-store and online.

4. Product Knowledge:

• Stay informed on the latest cycling trends, technologies, and inventory.

• Attend training sessions and share product knowledge with customers and teammates.

5. General Duties:

• Answer phones and respond to emails.

• Support order fulfillment for online purchases.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Shop Manager.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Passion for cycling and familiarity with bike products.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Previous sales experience in a retail setting.

• Strong organization and time-management skills.

• Comfortable using POS systems and digital tools.

• Friendly, reliable, and proactive attitude.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a bike shop or cycling-related retail.

• Basic knowledge of bike mechanics and e-bikes.

• Familiarity with online sales platforms and content creation.
