Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Leader of the plant, the Customer Service Supply Chain Manager ensures the best reliable supply service to affiliates of the products packed at the Alcobendas plant. This involves executing customer orders, understanding specific needs of each affiliate and product, and managing human and material resources effectively to meet departmental goals and promote professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision, leadership, and development of the Customer Service team: Market Coordinators and Documentation Coordinators.
  • Address customer needs, ensuring smooth communication between the factory, affiliates, and Global Supply Chain.
  • Demand management from order receipt to delivery.
  • Support launch plans for new products and presentations, as well as discontinuation processes.
  • Lead the Distribution Process Team.
  • Active member of the Plant's Flow Team, monitoring at-risk supplies and prioritizing urgent shipments.
  • Participate in SRM with global transportation providers.
  • Support periodic VAT inspections and evaluations for OEA certification.
  • Coordinate with Global Logistics on transportation route reviews and changes.
  • Assist in implementing new releases of TMS and SAP S4-HANA systems.
  • Maintain Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence (OSSCE).
  • Prepare the department's Business Plan.
  • Control departmental expenses.

Required Profile

  • University degree preferably in Engineering or Health Sciences.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain within the Pharmaceutical Industry, with valuable team management experience.
  • Advanced level of English (C1), both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.
  • Interest in a demanding, high-visibility international role within the plant.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: leadership, teamwork, communication, customer orientation, decision-making, active listening.
  • Organizational skills: prioritization, problem-solving, attention to detail.
  • Technical skills: demonstrated knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and their application in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Willingness for possible international relocation.
