A global wind energy company in the Área Metropolitana, Valle de Egüés is seeking a Project Manager to oversee software development projects. You will manage budgets, quality, and timelines while collaborating with engineering and service teams. The ideal candidate has a Master's in Electrical Engineering and experience in the wind turbine industry. This role requires fluent English and involves international travel, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.

Your Tasks

• Manage new development projects inside Global Engineering focused on Software activities across the different Nordex portfolio platforms, assuring budget, quality and timeline of the project.
• Processing the project scope with interdisciplinary project teams (mainly but not limited to Engineering and Service).
• Evaluation of project ideas and support up to approval.
• Align schedule and scope of own projects across the product platform with other project managers.
• Report to the program director of Turbine Serial Development as well as escalation to relevant committees Coordination of the necessary resources with line and project managers.
• Coordination of technical aspects and risk management with chief engineers and divisional management.
• Organization of prototype tests and ramp-up activities in the operation areas.
  
  

Your Profile

• Diploma/Master's in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
• Project Management experience required (PM certification preferred).
• Several years of experience in wind turbine industry, preferably on electrical and control functions.
• Very good MS office skills (including MS Project Server).
• Experience in an ERP and PLM system is advantageous.
• Team worker, customer & solution oriented, clear and structured communication and leadership skills. High quality awareness and assertiveness.
• Intercultural experience necessary.
• Fluent in English. Beneficial skills in Spanish and German.
• Experience: Relevant experience in an Engineering or project management position in wind industry.
