Project Manager for Real Estate (Madrid & Málaga Areas, with Travel Flexibility)

Group-IPS is reshaping the future of Engineering and Architecture Projects. We are an international company with in-house Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for various industries, Automation, and Architecture.

We are looking for an Intermediate Project Engineer for Real Estate and Industrial Projects, based in our Madrid or Malaga office, with weekly visits to both offices.

The Project Manager defines technical solutions and organizes technical alignment on a variety of equipment, facilities, utilities, components, products, and systems for a diverse client base of manufacturers. He / she maintains and oversees part of / the complete project process; prepares status reports and delivers the documentation on schedule.

What is the role about?

As a Project Manager at IPS, you’ll be responsible for managing exciting projects, from small improvements to large-scale developments. You’ll work closely with a dynamic international team, using the best project management tools to help our clients succeed. You’ll have the chance to take ownership of the whole project journey, from planning to execution, with the following phases :

• Project Feasibility: Defining project goals, layouts, schedules, procurement strategies, and financial planning.
• Project Preparation: Handling investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement.
• Project Realization: Overseeing detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning, and operational management.

Who are you?

• Degree OR Master’s in Civil Engineering, Road Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Architecture.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in similar positions, with at least 4 years in Project Management.
• Experience in Residential, Industrial Warehousing, Hotels, and Office Projects.
• Experience on the complete life cycle of a Civil Project: master planning, feasibility, permitting, civil works, main infrastructure needs, contracting, and construction management.
• Comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
• Competencies in MS Office, BIM, and Presto.
• Languages: Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• National mobility between Malaga and Madrid; international mobility depends on the project.
