Overview

IPS is an international company with in-house Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries, Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise, more than ten countries around the globe with an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset. We are looking for a Supply Chain Project Engineer to join our office in Madrid.

As an employee of IPS, you will actively participate in a wide range of projects in an industrial environment. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specializations.

Responsibilities

• As a Supply Chain Project Engineer, you will be involved in supply chain projects within the Food Industry, Life Sciences, Chemical, Primary or Buildings.
• Simulation projects for operational and logistics purposes using Anylogic and FlexSim software to design the best logistic infrastructures.
• Study, analysis, and optimization of the supply chain.
• Analysis, conceptual design, procurement, and supervision in a warehousing and transport implementation.
• Digital audit to analyse operational problems in factories and design a strategy to reduce them.
• Support the management of projects across multiple phases: strategic consulting, feasibility, preparation, and realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any other related field.
• Master’s degree in supply chain is a plus.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in industrial supply chain or warehouse process improvement projects.
• Familiarity with Lean methodologies, process mapping and warehouse KPIs.
• Experience or knowledge in simulation modeling, using FlexSim, Anylogic or other simulation software.
• Fluency in Spanish and English. French is a plus.
• Open to mobility according to project needs (20% to 60%).
