As the Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of AI-powered functionalities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including AI research, product management, engineering, design, and data science—to transform business opportunities into scalable and high-impact AI solutions.

This role requires a rare blend of technical fluency, business acumen, and executional leadership. You will serve as a key liaison between C-level executives and operational teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and excellence in delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership
• Define and own the execution strategy for AI product development in alignment with company goals.
• Translate AI innovation opportunities into structured product roadmaps and project plans.
• Prioritize AI initiatives based on business impact and feasibility with the executive team.

• Project & Program Management
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI functionalities—from concept validation to launch.
• Build and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Define and track project KPIs, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring timely and budgeted execution.
• Champion agile practices and continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Communication & Alignment
• Act as the main contact for leadership, clients, and internal teams on AI initiatives.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage risks and resolve issues impacting scope, timeline, or quality.
• Collaborate with marketing teams and understand user acquisition strategies.

• Resource & Budget Management
• Efficiently allocate resources across AI programs.
• Work with finance and HR on budgeting, hiring, and vendor relationships.
• Assess external partnerships and tools to enhance AI delivery.

Requirements

• 8+ years in project or program management in tech/software environments.
• 3+ years leading AI/ML projects or products.
• Proven experience managing complex software projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and trends.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, Business, or related; MBA or MSc a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NLP, computer vision, predictive modeling, or generative AI.
• Experience with enterprise or consumer AI applications.
• Background in fast-paced or scale-up environments.
• Experience working with remote/multicultural teams.
