Descripción del empleo

We are looking for an

EMEA Product Manager – Strawberry & Rubus

to strengthen our business through an integrated and strategic management of our variety portfolio across Europe.

This role connects three key pillars —

Market, R&D and Plant Material Assurance

— ensuring alignment between product needs, innovation pipeline and reliable plant material supply. The position goes beyond traditional product marketing, driving varietal planning, segment strategy and long-term portfolio continuity to support sustainable growth and competitive positioning across EMEA.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead the varietal assortment across EMEA, ensuring full segment coverage and long-term pipeline structure aligned with Market, R&D and Plant Material Assurance.
  • Structure and prioritize varietal plans (entry, advancement and phase-out) and coordinate plant material availability, avoiding shortages during launches.
  • Chair cross-functional Regional Tactical Teams (Sales, R&D, Planning, Operations, Marketing) to anticipate risks, align decisions and coordinate pipeline-to-market execution.
  • Define product positioning and pricing proposals, supporting Sales with technical expertise, value messages, field days and participation in key visits and events.
  • Develop clear success messages and go-to-market readiness for each variety and region to ensure fast adoption and strong market impact across EMEA.
Profile requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or Plant Science (required).
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Product Management (preferred).
Training
  • BI, data analysis or project management training is a plus.
Experience
  • ~5–10 years of experience in product management, commercial or technical roles, preferably within agriculture or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert market and technical data into actionable business insights.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong influence and collaboration skills to lead multifunctional teams without direct reporting lines.
  • Previous exposure to berries, horticulture or plant propagation is a strong advantage.
Languages
  • Fluent English (required).
  • Spanish (highly valued).
  • Any additional EMEA language (French, German, Dutch, etc.) is a plus.
Additional requirements
  • Strong digital skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with data analysis tools, dashboards and CRM / ERP environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% across the EMEA region (field visits, events and internal cross-functional sessions).
  • High visibility role with frequent representation of the company alongside the commercial team during events, customer presentations and technical visits.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international and multicultural environment, with flexibility to adapt to seasonal peaks.
What we offer
  • Strategic and high-impact role within an international organization.
  • Permanent contract and full-time position.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of the Strawberry & Rubus portfolio across EMEA.
