If you have experience balancing strategic procurement with hands-on execution and influencing outcomes across global teams, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What you get to do
  • Lead contract negotiations with vendors to achieve the best commercial and risk-mitigated outcomes
  • Support the development of procurement frameworks and templates such as vendor onboarding checklists and contract risk matrices for use across the business
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives across multiple categories by identifying and executing savings opportunities
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity to embed procurement risk management into enterprise policies and vendor selection
  • Support the rollout of procurement systems, including ERP purchase order processes and third-party risk management tools, and act as system owner
What you can look forward to

At Paymentology we value making a difference to the lives of the people who work for us and who live in the communities where we operate. You can look forward to working with a diverse, global team where Paymentologists at all levels play an important part in our global mission to advance the world through payments and make a difference on a global scale.

Responsibilities (continued)
  • Operate independently to lead negotiations and support the design of procurement frameworks
  • Work with the Senior Procurement Specialist on setting priorities and support advice given to senior management on sourcing strategies
  • Represent Paymentology in negotiations and influence procurement outcomes across the company
  • Solve ambiguous and strategic procurement problems such as multi-layered contract risk, regional compliance obligations, and complex pricing models
  • Help design scalable procurement policies and frameworks that balance commercial optimisation with regulatory, financial, and operational risk
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams and support the shaping of the global procurement policy
  • Build strong supplier partnerships to secure strategic advantage

  • 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in SaaS / technology procurement
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and supporting the implementation of vendor performance frameworks
  • Track record of delivering significant cost savings and shaping procurement processes
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement automation tools, and vendor risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Procurement; CIPS or equivalent professional certification preferred
