About Horse Technologies

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Organize and supervise the simulation team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Define and prioritize simulation tasks for engine performance, emissions, fuel efficiency, and drivability.
• Act as the main contact for simulation software providers, managing licenses and technical support.
• Audit and validate simulation outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for simulation workflows and methodologies.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in powertrain simulation and leading simulation teams.
• Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree; Master or PhD in hybrid engine efficiency/emissions preferred.
• Excellent skills in AVL Cruise M and GT-Power/Suite for simulation and analysis.
• Strong competencies in team leadership and technical rigor, with a collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be highly valued.
