RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is an opportunity for a motivated person wishing to work in a highly international environment.

This is a part-time position (50%), reporting to the Finance & Office Manager based in Geneva. You will:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for International Societies such as:
    • Bookkeeping in multiple currencies
    • Collaborating with internal teams to gather financial information in order that association accounts can be prepared
    • Updating budget and projection
    • Preparing financial reports (Balance sheets accounts, Profit & Loss accounts) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Assisting with the year-end closing procedures and supporting the preparation of financial statements for audit work
    • Supporting accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliation
REQUIREMENTS:

  • Perfectly fluent in English
  • Three years’ professional experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in financial software
  • High level of Excel proficiency
  • Comfortable with Office 365 and Teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
