Working in our Architecture, Intelligence and Technology Department (AI&T), you will play a key role in the configuration of our new Global MDM Team.
We are seeking an experienced MDM Integration Architect to design, implement, and manage the integration layer of a global Master Data Management (MDM) program. This role will be responsible for defining the integration strategy between the MDM platform and surrounding enterprise systems, including both SaaS applications and custom-built solutions. The MDM Integration Architect will ensure robust, secure, and scalable API frameworks, guaranteeing seamless data flows across the organization.
As MDM Integration Architect, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Define and own the MDM integration strategy, ensuring reliable data exchange between the MDM hub and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, Analytics).
- Design, document, and enforce API definitions, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee the development of data pipelines and workflows (batch, near real-time, event-driven) to support consistent and timely master data distribution.
- Ensure integration architecture aligns with enterprise security, scalability, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with MDM Architects, Data Owners, and Business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical integration solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integration performance, resilience, and error handling.
- Stay up to date with integration trends, middleware technologies, and API management solutions to propose enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in designing and delivering complex system integrations within MDM or large-scale data initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with API management platforms (e.g., SwaggerHub, Apigee, MuleSoft, Azure API Management, Kong).
- Expertise in integrating with SaaS applications (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, etc.).
- Strong background in ETL/ELT tools, middleware, and cloud-based integration services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica IICS, MuleSoft).
- Solid understanding of REST, SOAP, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with data quality and governance principles in master data flows.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, TLS) and compliance (GDPR, SOX).
- Solid background participating in long/complex projects, managing different stakeholders/departments, and aligning priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-native integration architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of microservices and event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Event Hub).
- Background in CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
- Prior experience working in Agile project environments with DevOps practices.
