A multinational IT services company is seeking an experienced Legal Contract Manager in Madrid to manage the commercial and legal aspects of IT service agreements. The role involves risk identification, negotiation strategies, and collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT contracts and a strong knowledge of contract law.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years managing various IT contracts, preferably as a Contract Manager or in-house IT lawyer.
• Strong knowledge of contract law.

• Support the contract lifecycle of IT projects, focusing on risk identification, mitigation, and negotiation strategy.
• Analyze contractual terms and conditions, advising internal stakeholders on commercial and legal risks.
• Collaborate with delivery teams in scope / gap analysis, project governance, and contract interpretation.
• Assist project teams in resolving contractual issues and disputes with clients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes in Contract Management.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Legal Contract Manager to join our international Contract Management team supporting operations across Spain and Latam. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing commercial and legal aspects of complex IT service agreements, mitigating risks, and supporting the business with contract negotiation and project execution strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support the contract lifecycle of IT projects, focusing on risk identification, mitigation, and negotiation strategy.
• Analyze contractual terms and conditions, advising internal stakeholders on commercial and legal risks.
• Collaborate with delivery teams in scope / gap analysis, project governance, management of change requests, subcontractor management, acceptance procedures, and contract interpretation.
• Assist project teams and senior management in resolving contractual issues and disputes with clients.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes, methodologies, and best practices in Contract Management.
• Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and other units to ensure contract compliance and successful execution.
• Provide support and guidance to local and regional stakeholders, aligning with global Contract Management strategies.

Profile

Minimum of 5 years managing various IT contracts, preferably as a Contract Manager or in-house IT lawyer. Experience in monitoring and managing contractual aspects of IT projects is required.

Strong knowledge of contract law.
