A leading consumer health company in Madrid seeks a Legal & Compliance Iberia Lead. This role includes providing legal advice, managing compliance risks, and supporting the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Legal & Compliance Iberia Lead, provides a full range of legal and compliance advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations and privileges of the Spanish and Portuguese organisation. Represents the organisation to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies. Provides resolution of business or technical issues by identifying legal and compliance solutions and recommending a course of action. Examines legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.

Education : Law degree
Qualified lawyer in Spain
8 years of experience practising as a lawyer advising on key laws (advertising of CH products, Competition Law, Commercial Law, Data Privacy and Anti-corruption Laws).
Experience as an in-house lawyer serving the employer client and the Business Partner.
Languages : Spanish and English at full working proficiency level.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated through interactions with team, clients, third parties.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to engage proactively across a broad range of client groups.
Agile and distributed decision-making – using evidence and applying judgement to balance pace, rigour and risk.
