A global product company in Barcelona is seeking a hands-on leader to guide their Data Science team. This role focuses on driving data science initiatives for ad-tech products, requiring 5+ years in data science with leadership experience. Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with AdTech domain knowledge, is essential. Your primary mission is to drive the data science vision for the ad‑tech and revenue optimization products. This role is critical for ensuring our models and data pipelines remain effective in a dynamic landscape, directly impacting our mission to redefine mobile app monetization.
It’s a US‑based product company specializing in mobile app monetization. They operate globally, with main offices in Poland, Spain, and the USA, supplemented by remote team members around the world.
Note: Have to be based in or ready to relocate (sponsorship provided) to Barcelona, Spain.
You will lead the Data Science team and be responsible for guiding the growth and development of its members, while maintaining a hands‑on approach. This role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and other business units to define the data science roadmap and ensure its alignment with company goals.
You will have the autonomy to oversee the full lifecycle of model development, from concept and research to production deployment, fostering an innovative and results‑driven environment for your team.
Important: There is a mandatory hybrid 4+1 in‑office arrangement at least for the first 3 months for a more seamless and efficient onboarding, which has been empirically proven to work best for new members. After that, more flexibility is possible upon agreement with the team and management.
