You will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of advanced laser systems at research institutions globally. The ideal candidate has a degree in Physics or Engineering, along with hands-on experience with lasers and strong troubleshooting skills. Formación

• Practical experience working with lasers or optical setups in lab or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic systems with hands-on skills in assembly and troubleshooting.
• Clear and confident communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with programming tools like LabVIEW, Python or similar is a big plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues including hardware faults, optical misalignments and software glitches.
• Perform root cause analysis to uncover underlying problems and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure fast, effective service.
• Keep detailed records of service activities including diagnostics, repairs and recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Take a hands-on role in installing, aligning and servicing advanced free-space laser systems both remotely and on-site at leading research institutions and industrial facilities worldwide.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues including hardware faults, optical misalignments and software glitches using a mix of repair, rework and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Perform root cause analysis to uncover underlying problems and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to ensure fast, effective service and outstanding user experiences.
• Keep detailed records of service activities including diagnostics, repairs and system improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting design or process enhancements.
