Formación

The Global XVA Desk manages fair value adjustments and economic risks arising from BBVA Global Markets derivatives and SFT transactions. It is a cross-asset trading desk responsible for credit and funding risk adjustments in non-collateralised and partially collateralised transactions, wrong-way risk exposures, bond-collateralised agreements, collateral posting options and more broadly any cross-product economic adjustment relevant to BBVA Global Markets activity.

About the job

As a Junior XVA Trader your responsibilities will include :

• Joining a global cross-asset trading team with hubs across three regions.
• Assisting in the pricing of XVA adjustments for derivatives and SFT transactions executed globally.
• Supporting the analysis and execution of market strategies to manage the complex cross-asset exposures of the Global Markets XVA portfolio.
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of tools and models that support all aspects of the Global Markets XVA agenda.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background, degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics (required).
• Background in Financial Mathematics is highly valued.
• Previous experience in a financial role is highly valued.
• Up to 3 years of work experience is valued.
• Team player who is able to perform under pressure.
