A global technology firm based in Madrid seeks an IT Team Lead to manage the Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform strategy. You will lead a team across Europe, ensuring secure and stable operations while aligning product goals with customer needs. The role requires strong leadership skills and knowledge of MFT solutions. Overview

IT Team Lead – File Transfer & Middleware Solutions – Las Rozas, Madrid | Hybrid Model

You will join the Application Platform Department Leadership Team and collaborate with teams across Europe. As the subject matter expert for our Managed File Transfer (MFT) enterprise platform, you will support Business IT teams to develop and run applications that power international markets.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation and evolution of the MFT platform strategy on-premise, ensuring secure and stable operations.
• Lead a team of at least 10 people in 3 European countries.
• Manage the roadmap and backlog of MFT features, aligning customer needs with cost-effective service delivery.
• Collaborate with People Managers and Project Managers to foster resource development and achieve product goals.
• Act as ambassador and trusted consultant for DevOps teams, providing expertise and promoting automation.
• Shape team culture, strengthen agile ways of working, and represent the platform across the organization.

What you bring

• Solid Product Owner and leadership experience with strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of MFT - Managed File Transfer solutions (Axway, GoAnywhere, IBM, etc.); OpenShift preferred.
• General knowledge in storage, networking, security, Linux infrastructure and automation.
• Open mindset, innovative thinking, and a drive to grow continuously.
• Fluent in English; German or Spanish is an advantage.
