IT Support Engineer
Our client is a chemical products distribution and marketing company based in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona). Our main business sectors include the distribution and marketing of chemicals and ingredients for life.
Responsibilities
- Offer first-line support for incidents to prevent and minimize IT service interruptions, using Topdesk as the ITSM tool.
- Update procedures and configurations to provide necessary tools to the first line, ensuring environment stability within agreed service levels.
- Ensure continuous service delivery to meet service level agreements, focusing on end-user satisfaction.
- Handle technical implementations, including installations and configurations of hardware and software to successfully deploy IT infrastructure.
- Inform, train, and guide end-users to optimize system usage and efficiency, including creating and updating FAQ documentation.
- Stay informed about developments in the field to keep knowledge current and maintain credibility by providing up-to-date support.
Position Requisites
- Education: Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior
- Languages: Fluent English (C1), preferred in the local language
- Knowledge: Windows, Office 365
- Experience: Minimum 3 years, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools; familiarity with other systems is a plus
- Skills: Well-organized, analytical, user/client-oriented, motivated to help with IT problems, good communicator, understanding of business impact
- Qualifications: Bachelor in ICT or similar, with over 5 years of experience
