Formación

IT Support Engineer

Our client is a chemical products distribution and marketing company based in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona). Our main business sectors include the distribution and marketing of chemicals and ingredients for life.

Responsibilities
  1. Offer first-line support for incidents to prevent and minimize IT service interruptions, using Topdesk as the ITSM tool.
  2. Update procedures and configurations to provide necessary tools to the first line, ensuring environment stability within agreed service levels.
  3. Ensure continuous service delivery to meet service level agreements, focusing on end-user satisfaction.
  4. Handle technical implementations, including installations and configurations of hardware and software to successfully deploy IT infrastructure.
  5. Inform, train, and guide end-users to optimize system usage and efficiency, including creating and updating FAQ documentation.
  6. Stay informed about developments in the field to keep knowledge current and maintain credibility by providing up-to-date support.
Position Requisites
  • Education: Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior
  • Languages: Fluent English (C1), preferred in the local language
  • Knowledge: Windows, Office 365
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Platform Tools; familiarity with other systems is a plus
  • Skills: Well-organized, analytical, user/client-oriented, motivated to help with IT problems, good communicator, understanding of business impact
  • Qualifications: Bachelor in ICT or similar, with over 5 years of experience
