Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates day-to-day IT support across the hotel, covering hardware, software, networks, Wi-Fi, telephone and audiovisual systems.
  • Acts as the first point of escalation for urgent technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and the guest experience.
  • Logs, prioritises and resolves IT incidents efficiently, with focus on issues impacting critical business functions.
  • Provides hands-on IT support during seasonal openings, high-profile events, VIP stays and peak operational periods.
  • Supports the setup, operation and troubleshooting of guest-facing technology, including in-room systems, conference facilities and event technology.
  • Ensures the continuous availability, performance and reliability of business-critical systems, including property management, point of sale, enterprise resource planning and collaboration platforms.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operation of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, backups, end-user devices and system security.
  • Delivers support for system upgrades, new implementations and standardization initiatives in line with brand and group IT standards.
  • Maintains accurate inventories of IT assets, licenses and equipment, managing lifecycle, replacement planning and cost control.
  • Liaises with external IT, telecommunications and systems providers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitors supplier contracts, service level agreements and performance, escalating issues where standards are not met.
  • Collaborates with corporate and regional IT teams to align local systems with wider organisational requirements.
  • Provides responsive IT support across hotel departments, including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing and Food and Beverage.
  • Ensures technology enables a seamless end-to-end guest journey, from Reservations and Check-In through Dining, Events and Billing.
  • Supports the implementation and ongoing compliance with cybersecurity, data protection and information security policies, including GDPR requirements.
  • Maintains clear, accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, procedures and user guides.
  • Analyses recurring incidents and system performance trends, translating findings into practical improvement actions.
  • Contributes to IT budgeting, forecasting and annual planning activities.
  • Supports change management activities, including user communication, training and adoption of new systems.
  • Champions continuous improvement by staying informed of emerging technologies relevant to luxury hospitality environments.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree or formal qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems or Telecommunications.
  • Relevant IT certifications in Networking, Systems or Security.
  • Experience in IT support or coordination roles within Hospitality or other 24/7 operational environments, with the ability to support multi-site operations.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems, networks, cabling, Wi-Fi, core hospitality systems and incident management tools to resolve issues efficiently and support service delivery.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data backup systems.
  • Operates effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment, showing flexibility during peak periods, strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • On-site role requiring frequent travel between locations and flexibility to work outside standard hours during key events and openings.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a definite plus.
  • Holds the legal right to work in Europe, including any required visas or work permits, in full compliance with local regulations.
  • Personally settled on the island with accommodation already arranged is a must.
