Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented sales professional to join our Inside Sales Iberia team. In this exciting role you will be responsible for outbound calling, selling PayPal’s extensive portfolio of customized payment solutions to meet our existing merchant’s business needs as well as to acquire new merchants. You will need to be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, have the ability to fully articulate the PayPal value proposition to prospective merchants & lead throughout the sales cycle. Your success in this role will be measured by a set of KPIs and Sales Target Incentive program.

Responsibilities
  • Drive demand generation and qualification through cold calling, email outreach, and inbound lead response.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, addressing legal, financial, and technical concerns effectively.
  • Conduct thorough discovery to analyze customer needs and present pre-packaged solutions and use-cases.
  • Maintain a rigorous pipeline with accurate forecasting and regular reporting on pipeline status and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and leverage customer insights to optimize offerings.
  • Follow a predefined sales process to understand challenges faced by small and medium-sized business owners and recommend solutions based on their needs.
  • Make outbound telephone sales of PayPal products to SMBs and larger businesses, communicating the PayPal value proposition and guiding them through the sales cycle.
  • Manage pipelines of existing and prospective client merchants to assist in developing their ePayments solution strategy; leverage and keep Salesforce updated.
  • Acquire new merchants and cross-sell / upsell to existing customers; demonstrate a consultative selling approach and close deals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder management and building relationships with key decision makers involved in merchant onboarding through the sales cycle.
  • Gain broad knowledge of the payments industry sector and demonstrate benefits to merchants through a consultative selling approach.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Job Requirements :

  • Languages: fluent in Spanish and English
  • IT Programs: Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an advantage
  • 3+ years of inside sales experience in an online, financial services, or e-commerce environment
  • Results oriented with proven sales achievement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized and self-motivated; strong telephone presence with outbound calling experience
  • Experience in managing a sales-based revenue forecast
  • Ability to sell in a team environment and show interest in further career development
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
  • Focus on productivity metrics such as calls, talk time, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Ability to host and present at merchant conference calls with internal business decision makers
