Formación

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  • Solid understanding of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Portuguese is a strong advantage.

As we continue to grow our operations in Europe, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to be the go-to person for all People-related matters in our Madrid office.

About the Role :

As an HR Generalist at Belmoney, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for executing and continuously improving HR processes, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and payroll support. You'll work closely with local and global teams, helping to ensure that our people operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Belmoney's culture and growth strategy.

In addition to core HR responsibilities, you will also provide support to Belmoney's board members, assisting with administrative and coordination tasks as needed. This dual role requires discretion, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations and executive support when required.

Key Responsibilities :

Talent Acquisition (Full-Cycle Recruitment)

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from end to end : crafting job descriptions, posting vacancies on platforms, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Belmoney, ensuring a great candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Support hiring strategies that align with both local and global headcount plans

Onboarding & Integration

  • Coordinate and execute structured onboarding processes for new hires
  • Prepare employment contracts, gather documentation, and register employees in internal systems
  • Schedule and track initial trainings and ensure a smooth transition for every new team member
  • Ensure legal compliance and accurate documentation for all onboarding procedures

People Operations & Contract Management

  • Draft, manage, and update employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documentation in accordance with Spanish labor laws
  • Keep employee records up to date and organized, ensuring compliance and confidentiality
  • Partner with legal or compliance teams when necessary to support international mobility and local regulatory issues

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Support payroll by checking timesheets, verifying salary calculations, and coordinating with finance / payroll providers
  • Monitor benefits and compensation routines, and resolve any discrepancies in payment or documentation
  • Handle administrative tasks such as absence tracking, holiday management, and certificates issuance

Performance & Employee Experience

  • Assist in building and maintaining structured feedback cycles and performance reviews
  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions and requests related to HR matters
  • Contribute to building a strong company culture and fostering employee engagement

Executive Support (Board Members Assistance)

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to board members when required
  • Assist with meeting scheduling, travel coordination, documentation, and other ad hoc requests
  • Act as a reliable and confidential point of contact for board-level assistance

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role with full-cycle exposure
  • Solid understanding of labor law and HR best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (mandatory); Portuguese is a strong advantage
  • Organized, self-driven, and adaptable to change
  • Hands-on approach and high level of accountability
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
