A leading global energy company is seeking a Head of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) to drive HSW strategies and ensure compliance with regulations across all operations. The ideal candidate should possess solid experience in Health and Safety, a relevant degree, and be fluent in English. You will work collaboratively to promote a strong safety culture and manage compliance with ISO certifications. This is a full-time executive-level position offering opportunities for growth in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• Recognized degree or qualification related to Health and Safety, engineering, or similar.
• Solid experience in Health and Safety, preferably in renewable energy or oil and gas sectors.
• Membership in relevant industry bodies (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM) is desirable.

What will you do?

We are seeking a Head of HSW to define and drive the HSW strategy at Iberdrola Energía Internacional, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, ISO certifications, and corporate objectives. Reporting directly to the COO and Management Committee, you will shape the company's global HSW culture. Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading and coordinating HSW policies, strategies, and indicators across all IEI countries and business units.
2. Promoting a strong safety culture and integrating prevention into all management processes.
3. Defining and implementing the HSW Management System and performance evaluation strategies.
4. Advising on risk prevention and annual preventive action plans.
5. Overseeing environmental and ergonomic studies and ensuring compliance with inspections.
6. Leading training and competence development for cross-functional teams.
7. Managing legal compliance, certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 45003, Top Employer), and audit processes.
8. Representing Iberdrola in international HSW forums and initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• A recognized degree or qualification related to Health and Safety, engineering, or similar, with good knowledge of European legislation.
• Solid experience in Health and Safety, preferably in renewable energy, oil, and gas sectors, including offshore wind or marine environments.
• Additional qualifications such as IEMA or CIEH Environmental Management, GWO certification, or ISO 45001/14001 auditing are a plus.
• Experience in implementing Health and Safety Management Systems, risk assessment, and strategy planning.
• Membership in relevant industry bodies (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM, CIEH, BOHS) is desirable.
• A valid driving license is essential.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
