A leading fertility technology company is seeking a Sales Director for Southern Europe, located in Madrid. The role involves driving business development and managing key customer relationships across Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece. Ideal candidates will have at least 7 years of sales experience, preferably in biotechnology or medical devices, and a proven track record of achieving sales quotas. FertilAI is a precision technology company that helps fertility clinics improve outcomes, workflows, and patient experiences by learning from lifetimes of data to predict the best day and dose for treatment. The Sales Director Southern Europe will drive new business development, manage key customer relationships, and grow revenue across key Southern European markets, for example Spain, Italy, Portugal and Greece. This role requires a results oriented sales leader with strong experience in biotechnology or medical devices.

Sales and Business Development
  • Achieve annual sales targets across Southern Europe through direct sales, any reporting team and distributor partnerships.
  • Identify, engage and close new business opportunities with fertility clinics, groups and networks.
  • Prioritise together with the commercial and development teams which EMRs FertilAI will partner with in the region.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and provide timely pipeline updates and forecasts.
  • Work closely with internal teams in marketing, clinical, product and operations to align sales execution with overall company strategy.
  • Ensure all commercial activity complies with local regulations and company standards, including ISO 13485.
  • Support post sales customer success and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of sales experience within fertility biotechnology, medical devices or third party services.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding quotas in capital equipment and or SaaS commercial models.
  • Experience managing CRM systems such as Monday CRM, HubSpot or an equivalent platform.
  • Fluent English plus at least one major Southern European language, for example Spanish or Italian.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced business qualification.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a global team.
