Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer - Remote. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing production environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), influencing the company's success by ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance. Your expertise in systems monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management will help drive essential projects. Collaborating with internal teams, you will contribute to governance and compliance frameworks while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Accountabilities

• Gestión de entornos GCP en producción, incluyendo Compute Engine, GKE, VPC Networking, Cloud Storage e IAM.
• Monitoreo y observabilidad de los sistemas, asegurando performance tuning y resolución de incidencias.
• Implementación de Infraestructura como Código usando Terraform.
• Desarrollo de scripts de automatización y soporte operativo (Python, Bash).
• Colaborar con equipos internos en procesos de ITIL (incidentes, cambios y problemas).
• Cumplimiento de marcos de gobernanza y compliance aplicables al entorno.

Requirements

• Titulación en IT, Ingeniería Informática o similar.
• 6+ años de experiencia en TI, con mínimo 3 años gestionando GCP en producción.
• Experiencia práctica en servicios GCP: Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM.
• Conocimiento en monitoring, observabilidad y performance tuning.
• Habilidades de scripting: Python y Bash.
• Experiencia en Terraform para automatización de infraestructura.
