Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our international team within Solera’s Data Insights and Data Science organization. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with major Insurance Companies, Vehicle Manufacturers, and Repair Shops to build industry-leading analytical software solutions, including our Sustainable Estimatics offerings. Sustainable Estimatics is a leading suite within the company, recognized for its substantial impact on the industry. What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient full-stack analytical applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between services and applications.
• Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability, integrity, and performance.
• Work with Liquibase to manage schema changes and database versioning.
• Develop and enhance UI components for dynamic and interactive user experiences.
• Write efficient HQL queries for optimized data retrieval and analysis.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and align solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure high code quality by adhering to best practices, conducting code reviews, and writing unit and integration tests.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve our tech stack and development processes.
• Contribute to agile development practices, including sprint planning, continuous integration, and deployment.

What You Need for this Position

• At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Strong backend development skills using Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with various backend services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Liquibase for managing databases.
• Knowledge of HQL (Hibernate Query Language) and experience optimizing queries.
• Knowledge of Apache Solr or similar such as Elastic.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of best practices in software development, including code optimization, security, and scalability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an international team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached) for performance optimization.
• Continuous learning mindset with the ability to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
