Requirements

We're currently searching for a Field Service Technician, with main functions including:

Customer Service:

• Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide
• Providing field activities such as supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and training
• Executing emergency site interventions
• Making repairs at site or at Sécheron's facilities
• Executing audits and maintenance jobs
• Elaborating technical reports

Support to Sales and Contract Execution:

• Supporting Sales Engineers with substation surveys and site access permissions
• Preparing repair quotations
• Identifying new business opportunities: sale of spare parts, repairs, on-site services, modernization, retrofits, training, and maintenance contracts

Logistics and Stock:

• Supporting stock management of spare parts and tools
• Willing to travel up to 80% of the time

Requirements

• Technical degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Technician, or Engineering or related field
• Electrical hazards and safety training; maintenance; protections and control of electrical equipment
• Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment; ideally with experience on maintenance and DC traction substations
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus
• Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
