About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or PhD degree in Optics, preferably with a focus on NEDs, and 2+ years of experience in writing R&D related technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and contribute to inventions.
• Write clear and complete invention disclosures for patent attorneys.
• Analyze patent and scientific publications and summarize key findings for patent attorneys and R&D teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A broad understanding of concepts in diffractive optics, refractive optics, wave optics, and polarization optics.
• Working knowledge of optoelectronic components, especially light sources, light modulators, and displays.
• Familiarity with optical system design and compact optical system integration.
• Deep understanding of the working principles of NEDs or related systems.
