The successful candidate will manage ocean freight operations from planning to execution, ensuring client satisfaction. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, alongside familiarity with import/export operations and customs procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Tools is essential. As our new Sea-Freight Operator, you will be part of our Spanish Operative Team located in Valencia, directly reporting into the Branch Manager. You will manage ocean freight operations for both import and export, overseeing the entire process from planning to full execution of the shipment cycle and providing exceptional and pro-active support through liaising with customers, shippers, network, and overseas partners, always respecting the deadlines. You will have in dept knowledge of the documentations, invoicing, warehousing instructions, customers and suppliers contacts, being able to quickly recognize potential issues to report and elevate to the Sea Freight Supervisor on the daily operations.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the day to day operational tasks, following ocean freight operations for both import and export, arranging the shipment according to specific customer requirements.
• Handling transport documentation.
• Monitoring shipments and keeping clients updated on progress / any delays.
• Give all the Warehousing instructions.

Qualifications

• Familiar with both import and export operations as well as with customs procedures.
• Fluency both in Spanish and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Products and IT tools in general.
