A leading assurance and inspection service provider is seeking E&I Inspectors for a long-term project based in Tarragona, Spain. Candidates should have experience in electrical/instrument installations, be fluent in English, and ideally possess knowledge of hazardous area requirements. The role requires teamwork and inspection management skills. Fluency in Spanish or Italian is a plus. The position is available to start in April/May 2025.

Formación

• Previous experience in the role and in relevant O&G projects.
• Fluent in English; good Spanish or Italian is nice to have.
• Available to start in Apr/May 2025.

Responsabilidades

• Perform inspections based on provided documents.
• Manage inspection notifications and punch list.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on quality concerns.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of Wiring, P&ID, Instrument List, Data Sheet, Electrical Specification

Knowledge about quality process

Field electrical/instrument installation inspection experience

Applicable standard NFPE70/NEC knowledge

Knowledge of hazardous area requirements

Experience as Resident Final Customer E&I inspector

Certificate review experience

Teamwork approach

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for an E&I Inspectors for a long-term project based at supplier in Tarragona area.

Hard skills:

• Good knowledge of following documents: Wiring, P&ID, Instrument List, Data Sheet, and Electrical Specification
• Knowledge about quality process: inspection notification, punch list management as well as ITP/QCP understanding
• Field electrical/instrument installation inspection experience (preferred experience on Module construction project)
• Applicable standard NFPE70/NEC knowledge
• Knowledge of hazardous area requirements
• Experience as Resident Final Customer E&I inspector (preferred resident experience versus on call inspections)
• Positive teamwork approach: the inspector will be part of a multidisciplinary team performing Mech Completion activities and sharing/escalating potential issues/quality concern to the inspector lead
• Experience on certificate review (OEM certification, ITRs...)
