Overview

Supply Chain Director Role

This senior management position is key to driving efficiency and compliance within our international pharmaceutical organisation. The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain, from procurement to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive supply chain strategy in line with business goals
• Lead a diverse team providing guidance, mentorship and performance management
• Manage procurement, inventory, production scheduling, logistics and customer service processes
• Drive cost optimisation and process efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for supply chain performance
• Collaborate closely with production, quality assurance, regulatory and commercial teams
• Negotiate sourcing agreements and manage supplier relationships ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management within the pharmaceutical sector, including customer-facing roles
• Background in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) or B2B pharmaceutical generics or biologics
• Expertise in sourcing, production scheduling, planning launches and warehouse management
• Proven ability to lead large teams of 15+ people
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and KPIs
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field required
• Master's degree or certifications preferred
