Responsibilities

MaxLinear is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Valencia office. The responsibilities will be:

• Support MaxLinear projects in adopting the global CI/CD and testing strategy, utilizing MaxLinear private cloud and integrating software methodology practices such as static analysis and linting.
• Support MaxLinear projects in adopting a common building framework, identifying specific issues and implementing adequate solutions.
• Increase automation in our environment by implementing common libraries to improve our CI/CD processes.
• Contribute improvements, ideas, and features for our internal applications and processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Python programming and/or DevOps Engineering.
• Proficiency with GIT.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Fluency in English and ability to present technical topics to international audiences.
• Proactive attitude to grow skills in CI/CD and DevOps, and willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker containerization.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Networking knowledge and administration skills.
• Knowledge of build systems such as CMake, Meson, Makefiles.
• Experience with Django, React, and Flask.
