About the role

As a Data Scientist at Bdeo you\'ll play a critical role in our data team.

  • You will be part of our highly motivated data scientists team with strong skills in the visual intelligence domain and wide experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms; implementing AI-based products since 2018.
  • You will work with a product-oriented agile squad, and focus on designing, implementing, training, testing and deploying new and innovative AI solutions.
  • You will collaborate with talented people from different backgrounds such as MLops engineers, analytics engineers, product managers, software engineers, QA engineers…
  • You will foresee AI challenges, participate in the definition and development of innovative AI solutions and guide less experienced data scientists to accomplish goals as a team.
  • You will promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Math or a related field with a focus on computer vision and deep learning.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in data science and software development.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Solid knowledge of Deep Learning (theoretically and practically), especially with Computer Vision.
  • Strong skills in a Deep Learning framework (Pytorch, Tensorflow...).
  • Diverse knowledge of other machine learning techniques (forest based models, logistic regression, causal models, SMVs…)
  • Capability to understand scientific papers of the SOTA.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems, formulate effective solutions, and implement them.
  • Eager to keep improving yourself with the latest technologies.
  • Eager to solve challenging tasks.
  • Eager to use generative AI to optimize the development lifecycle.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken.
  • Nice to haves :
  • Experience in cloud services
  • Experience with generative AI for assistance and automation of tasks
  • Experience using generative AI to enhance software products
  • MSc in Data Science or related fields
  • Clear understanding of the pipeline to make models into production
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience using Docker
  • Experience using RestAPI frameworks
  • If you are fluent in Spanish
  • Industry experience working on machine learning
