A prominent software engineering company in Madrid is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance customer data infrastructure. You will be responsible for optimizing data flows and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience, strong knowledge in ETL pipelines, and is proficient in SQL and cloud services. Formación

  • Minimum 3 years of tangible experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL pipelines and data engineering best practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (Snowflake / Databricks preferred).
  • Proven ability to design and optimize big-data pipelines and architectures.
  • Strong analytical skills, including work with unstructured datasets.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency in Python or Scala.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English (spoken & written).

  • Optimizing data architectures, flows, and datasets to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Working with cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Integrating and re-engineering emerging data-management and software-engineering technologies.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Defining and documenting standardized processes for data mining, modeling, and production.
  • Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and IT teams.
  • Using scripting languages (Python, Scala) and SQL to stitch systems together.
  • Recommending improvements to increase data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
