Overview

At ING we are looking for a Data Protection Expert member in the DPE Office Team. This role brings a key focus on ensuring that all personal data belonging to our customers and employees is secure and protected, in compliance with relevant policies and regulations (GDPR). As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in risk assessment, monitoring data transfers, recording and tracking personal data breaches, and adding value to the business by ensuring the highest level of privacy and data protection in its contracts and process flows.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct data protection related risk assessments and create DPIAs, TIAs, LIAs.
  • Document and manage personal data breaches.
  • Monitor third parties, ensuring compliance with data protection policies by the suppliers we work with.
  • Design and implement privacy related training and awareness programs across the organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units and IT teams, providing guidance on privacy requirements in new products, services, and processes.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in Data Protection areas.
  • Professional certification or specialization in Data Protection.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 solutions (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint…) and data protection tools.
  • Responsibility, decisiveness, and a commitment to quality.
