IT Resilience Consultant
The opportunity

We are looking for an IT Resilience Consultant to join our team. You will have the chance to assist entities in implementing effective processes and controls to mitigate these risks and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with different stakeholders and be involved in monitoring and reporting on risks.

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) and Business Continuity Plans and Procedures (BCPs)
  • Review, revise, and expand existing plans and protocols
  • Develop Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for different business areas
  • Conduct risk assessments for various business areas and processes, analysing the potential business impact of unpredictable disruptions: natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, market disruptions, etc.
  • Support the planning, design, and execution of continuity tests, both technological and non-technological (walkthroughs, desktop tests, call tree tests, crisis management simulations, contingency/disaster recovery tests, backup recovery tests, etc.)
  • Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of a disaster
  • Identify and implement recovery operations and methods that allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity
  • Align the crisis management plan with established best practices and international standards

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Prior experience in IT Resilience or a similar role
  • B2+ level of English language
  • Specialized training in Cybersecurity
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Knowledge of the following:
    • ISO 2700x, ISO 37500, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, NIST, Cloud Environments
    • GDPR, ICT SREP, PCI-DSS
