A global healthcare consultancy is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead their biologics operations. This remote role requires extensive experience in biologics manufacturing and strong operational management skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale production and financial leadership, ensuring compliance with international regulations. Profile:

• Proven senior leadership experience in biologics manufacturing, preferably within a CDMO environment
• Strong operational background spanning development, GMP manufacturing, and supply chain management
• Demonstrated expertise in large-scale biologics production under EU-GMP and FDA regulations
• Experience managing both clinical and commercial-stage programs
• Solid track record of financial and P&L responsibility
• Strong leadership in cross-functional settings, including Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Project Management

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day global operations and ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable delivery of services
• Oversee end-to-end biologics operations, from development to GMP manufacturing and late-stage supply
• Ensure compliance with international regulatory frameworks (EU-GMP, FDA, ICH)
• Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and adoption of innovative technologies
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership to set and execute strategic growth plans
• Manage customer relationships, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction
• Support business development through operational insights and capacity planning
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance across the organization
