We are a company specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. We have the support of 4000 employees across 6 countries operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers to serve more than 100 clients.

At Draxton Barcelona (Central Services) located in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona) we want to hire a Buyer.

In this position the main responsibility is to ensure undisturbed supply of products, materials and services for the Plant in accordance with requirements and Group policies in order to guarantee reliability & quality at optimal cost. The role reports hierarchically and functionally to the Purchasing Manager.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the search evaluation and approval of offers, suppliers and alternatives for investments, raw materials and services.
• Negotiate prices and delivery times ensuring compliance with Group requirements and policies.
• Issue purchase orders in a timely manner, monitor quality indicators and resolve issues with suppliers and invoices.
• Control prices against the budget, develop action plans for deviations and participate in the creation of the global purchasing budget and forecasts.
• Ensure the implementation of ESG requirements, maintain documentation and keep the ERP database updated.
• Contribute to compliance with the Quality System and act as Lead Buyer for the assigned categories.

To succeed in this role you will need

• Graduate in Engineering.
• High level of English. Constant communication in English.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the industrial sector.
• Strong negotiation skills.

• Permanent contract in a solid and growing company.
• Full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday start between 7:00 and 9:00 and finish between 17:00 and 18:30. Intensive schedule on Fridays.
• 6 days remote work per month.
