Sun Pharma is a global pharmaceutical leader dedicated to delivering innovative healthcare solutions that improve patient lives. With a strong focus on expanding our presence in Europe with focus on dermatology, oncology, ophthalmology and rare diseases, we are looking for a Business Insights Manager – WEU to join our team.
This critical role will support business development, drive sales tracking and reporting, forecasting and market intelligence initiatives, and support the performance of existing and launching products and help shape the future of Sun Pharma’s product portfolio across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Planning
- Develop and maintain robust forecasting models for Sun Pharma’s current and future products, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Analyse market trends using in-market as well as internal sales data to support product launch planning and long-term strategic goals.
- Track and report sales performance across Sun Pharma’s Western European Specialty product portfolio, leveraging data from acquired sources.
- Create and maintain detailed sales tracking files, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Lead market intelligence efforts by gathering and analysing data on competitors, market dynamics, and industry trends within the Region
- Deliver comprehensive reports to inform strategic planning and competitive positioning.
Business Development Support
- Support Global teams in their assessment of new business opportunities and their commercial viability within WEU.
- Lead insights research on WEU market potential, pricing potential, patient journey, unmet patient needs, coverage needed (identification of treating centers) for future products selected by Global teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business insights, market intelligence, strategy consulting or a related role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proven expertise in forecasting, sales analysis, market research and business case creation
- Understanding of the European pharmaceutical market, regulatory and market access/reimbursement environment.
- Expert proficiency in Excel. Experience with forecasting software, database programming as well as further analytical tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in using PPT and Word
- Knowledge and experience working with in-market pharmaceutical sales data providers (IQVIA, Insight Health, GERS, etc...)
- Experience in managing projects with external vendors (especially market research agencies, consultancies)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking and writing)
