As a Brand Coordinator at Shimano, you will facilitate communication between Sales, Marketing, Product teams, and Customers/Consumers, contributing to the execution of excellent marketing plans. We seek someone proactive, innovative, and team-oriented.

The Challenge

  • Be part of the Brand team, collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical specialists to become a product master.
  • Develop annual marketing plans with the marketing team, ensuring monitoring, execution, and evaluation.
  • Ensure proper execution of product launches, including all sales tools and materials.
  • Proactively gather market information (competition, sales data, trends) through field visits, online research, exhibitions, and vendor presentations.
  • Manage effective relationships within the team to facilitate communication.
  • Track and analyze brand/product performance, profitability, and trends monthly.
  • Build and monitor forecasts for new launches.
  • Liaise with sales and marketing services to communicate product info, sales actions, pricing, margins, forecasts, promotions, and stock status.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of annual sales and marketing plans for assigned products/brands, taking remedial actions when necessary.
  • Maintain regular contact with the European Brand team.

What are we looking for?

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international setting.
  • Knowledge of Product Management is a plus.
  • Experience with bicycle components and products is required.
  • Affinity with the bike market and Shimano's product range.
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel.
