Role: Devops Engineer
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Hybrid: 2 to 3 days a week
Employment Type: Contract
Required Skills: Deep knowledge and extensive development experience with Python, configuration management and infrastructure automation systems through Terraform, version control systems preferably GitHub Enterprise, CI/CD platforms (e.g. GitLab, GitHub Actions). Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and cloud formation stacks (Terraform), automation and management of cloud‑based web servers and databases with knowledge of secrets, certificates, and other security practices. Experience managing authentication flows with IAM platforms such as Azure Entra ID and authorisation workflows involving roles, users, service principals, and groups. Working on Linux/Windows‑based cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS EC2). Experience containerising applications using Docker. Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, and networking and security configuration. Experience building applications that incorporate cloud (AWS), APIs, microservices, containerisation, and serverless architectures. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle. Strong background in AWS networking services and routing concepts.
