A leading technology firm in Madrid is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to assemble and test equipment. The ideal candidate will have relevant vocational training and skills in mechanical and electronic assembly. Responsibilities include accurately performing assembly tasks, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with engineering teams. Formación

Overview

Job title: Assembley Technician - Tecnico de Montaje de Produccion

Location - Madrid, Spain - office based

About the role

Assembly of equipment in production, and performing the tests required for commissioning the equipment.

What you will bring to the role

You will do the below but not limited to:

  • Assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components to build systems (PP, FR, BTA, ICCs, etc.) according to plans/diagrams, drawings, parts lists, and technical engineering specifications.
  • Configuration of mechanical, electrical, and electronic elements, as well as any device that requires it.
  • Completing and maintaining quality records, test results, and other reports related to the assembly process. Recording discrepancies/incidents in the corresponding register.
  • Performing tests and resolving technical problems, if any.
  • Verifying the operations performed during assembly, ensuring that they comply with the test plan established by engineering for correct operation.
  • Collaborating with engineering and quality control to ensure efficiency in the assembly/testing process.
  • Carry out/coordinate the shipping/packaging process.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Job tasks must be performed accurately, methodically, thoroughly, and efficiently in accordance with specifications, following procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in your workplace.
  • Train new employees.
  • Semi-annual monitoring of compliance with indicators associated with the Quality System.
  • Proper segregation of generated waste.
  • Comply with the company’s applicable Health and Safety measures.
About you
  • Diploma, Vocational training in chemistry, electromechanics, electrical engineering, electronics, and/or automation. A lower level of qualification will be accepted provided that the candidate can demonstrate experience in electrical and electronic assembly, or experience in PID projects.
  • Knowledge of thread types (metric, inch)
  • Shaping stainless steel pipes and fittings
  • Interpretation of mechanical drawings
  • Use of measuring tools (calipers, vernier calipers)
  • Experience and knowledge of pneumatics.
  • Experience in wiring panels.
  • Knowledge of PLC input, output, and communication signals.
  • Interpretation of electrical drawings.
  • Experience using a multimeter.
  • Experience with some type of control software.
  • Interpretation of flowcharts.
  • Interpretation of electrical diagrams
  • English (knowledge will be valued).
