Role Overview :

We are looking for an Area Manager ofBusiness Development – Western Europe , a driven and strategic professional passionate about international growth across key European markets. Based at our headquarters in Getafe (Madrid), you will work directly with the International Development Director to lead and expand our commercial presence in priority regions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong track record in international B2B business development within the urban waste equipment sector (or related industries such as urban furniture, construction materials, or services), and who thrives in a dynamic, cross-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the business development strategy for Western Europe, focusing on key regions including the Nordics (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland), Benelux (Belgium and the Netherlands), Greece, Switzerland, and Italy.
  • Manage and grow the existing client portfolio while identifying new opportunities for expansion.
  • Oversee one direct report based in Italy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Represent the company at international meetings, trade fairs, and strategic industry forums.
  • Collaborate closely with the International Development Director and internal teams to align regional efforts with global objectives.
  • Conduct regular international travel (approx. 50% of the time) to manage relationships and drive business growth.
