A global digital organization is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead the design and deployment of AI/ML platforms. This 12-month freelance contract offers a chance to work with cutting-edge technologies including Generative AI and LLMs, while directly influencing the organization's AI strategy. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in AI solution design and strong cloud experience, specifically with AWS. The position is hybrid based in Málaga.

Overview

We’re partnering with a global digital organisation at the forefront of data-driven innovation to hire an experienced AI Architect on a 12-month freelance contract. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI / ML frameworks and platforms used company-wide.
• Act as the AI subject matter expert, guiding technical strategy and innovation.
• Drive adoption of new technologies including Generative AI, agent-based systems, and real-time data analytics.
• Align with business and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless platform integration.

What we’re looking for

• 5 years in AI / ML solution design and architecture.
• Strong background in cloud AI platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, MLOps, and real-time event-driven architectures.
• Track record of delivering complex AI / ML solutions in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills to translate AI concepts into business value.

Contract Details

• Location: Must be based in Malta, Budapest, or Málaga (hybrid setup).
• Contract: 12 months (freelance / consulting).
