Collins Aerospace, located in Windsor Locks, CT, is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Co-op to assist the Central Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) group.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

• Assist the Central EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization
• Data entry and validation in EH&S reporting system as required
• Assist in investigating the feasibility of renewable energy opportunities in Collins operations
• Assist the Central EH&S team in monitoring of corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits

• Gain additional knowledge in investigating renewable energy opportunities.
• Learn about monitoring corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits
• Learn about sustainability initiatives and best practices for a portfolio of aerospace businesses.

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
