Our research emphasizes the relationship between manufacturing processes, microstructure formation, and material properties.With the ongoing digital transformation of materials science, simulation, data-driven models, and AI-based methods are gaining increasing importance. We integrate these approaches with advanced experimental techniques to achieve a comprehensive understanding and targeted optimization of materials. We benefit from a state-of-the-art infrastructure, enabling everything from sample preparation to high-resolution microstructural analysis.In addition to research, we are actively engaged in teaching and industrial knowledge transfer—thus building a bridge between scientific excellence and practical application.
