A leading space technology company based in Munich is looking for a Commodity Manager to manage sourcing activities, particularly for Electro-Mechanical components. This role involves defining sourcing strategies, assessing supplier risks, and ensuring cost savings while maintaining quality standards. The position supports a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence three days a week.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for the position of Commodity Manager to join our Procurement team reporting to the Sourcing Manager. As part of the Satellite Platform team, you will help us define and execute the sourcing activities required to obtain the materials and services needed to build spacecraft within our purpose-built facility in Glasgow and support the growth of our supply chain in new geographical locations.
Spire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licenses—this is not something candidates need to have before applying.
